LAVERY LIBRARY OPEN LABOR DAY WEEKEND! We are open the last week of Intersession, Monday-Friday, August 25-29, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. We are also open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, August 30 - Monday, September 1, and we will host incoming Freshman during Orientation. Our regular hours resume on Tuesday, September 2nd, the first day of Fall Classes. Welcome Back !
Exhibits at Lavery Library:
Want to get away from it all? Can't get away? Check out some books and travel to a faraway location in your daydreams. We have new books coming in all the time, including titles just perfect for an afternoon at the beach -- or an evening in your favorite armchair. Native American Exhibit, in the main level Lobby and near the Reference Collection. Items displayed are archaeological and ethnographic artifacts from Lavery Library's Native American Collection, one of our many Special Collections. Stone tools, bead necklaces, arrowheads and more are on display. Stop by for a look at this exhibit, curated by Diane Lucas. Come on over and check out all our exhibits. They are free and open to the public during the Library's regular hours.
